Mrs. Bress earned a B. S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toledo and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Michigan. In addition to homeschooling her three sons for substantial portions of their educational journeys, she has taught many preschool, elementary, and middle school co-op and enrichment classes to the local homeschool community. She founded and has run a Catechesis of the Good Shepherd atrium in her home for the past ten years, and has served as a lead atrium catechist for several years at St. Jerome Academy in Hyattsville. She also enjoys teaching cooking classes from time to time. Mrs. Bress became certified as a Lindamood Phonemic Sequencing clinician to help one of her sons, who her family internationally adopted at age twelve, learn English. She has subsequently worked with several other children who struggle with dyslexia or other reading disabilities.
