4. Proper respect for tutors, elders, those in authority, and peers will be maintained. Lying will not be tolerated.
5. Students will obey tutors’ direction.
6. No audio, video, or other unapproved electronic devices will be allowed on school premises except when integrated into legitimate tutor sponsored course-work. Mobile phone/iPod usage is not permitted during school hours. All mobile phones and iPods will be placed in the phone/iPod holder at the beginning of the day and will be returned to the students at the end of the day. If a student forgets to put their device in the holder, their parents will be called to pick up their student and the student will not be allowed to bring their device to school for the remainder of the school year.
7. Destruction of property will not be tolerated. Classrooms, other students’ belongings, and host facilities should be left in the condition they are found.
8. Students will make every effort to arrive in a timely manner for classes and school events. If a student arrives after the beginning of a class, he/she must wait until the beginning of the next period so as not to disrupt the class in progress.
9. Eating will generally not be allowed in class, with some exceptions. Gum-chewing is prohibited.

14. Unless directed to do so by the tutor, students should not copy another student’s work whether it be homework or class work. All tests should be done without assistance from anyone (again, unless directed to receive such help by the tutor). Infractions of this item in the Code of Conduct constitute cheating and fall under the category of items #4 (lying) and #11 (stealing from another student).
15. No one shall be permitted to display or improperly use an instrument that could be considered a lethal weapon.
16. If a homework page is sent home by the tutor it must be signed and returned each week. Anyone who has not done work for two weeks will become an automatic auditor of the class. The tutor will no longer review or grade the student’s work, but the student may remain in the class at the tutor’s discretion.
17. No smoking or vaping paraphernalia will be allowed on the premises.
18. If there is any discipline problem, the tutors will contact the Board.
The Board of Directors retains the right to expel students for any infraction of any of these guidelines. Chronic disciplinary offenders may be referred to their parents for removal from St. Peter the Rock Homeschool Tutorial until a time when the student may be able to maintain more self-control and show the maturity needed for this environment.
