The Tutorial meets in Bowie, Maryland, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The school year is 32 weeks long, with breaks for Thanksgiving week, Christmas, and Easter.
Class size is kept to a 15-student maximum. Place in class is reserved by paying the registration fee and signing up for the class.
The minimum age at which we accept students into the high school (grade 9) is 14. Students must be 14 by September.
All classes are taught from a Catholic perspective, with tutors taking advantage of all possible "teachable moments" where faith and coursework intersect. Tutors are encouraged, but not required to begin class with prayer. All faiths are welcome to attend.
Study hall is available for every class period by sitting with Mrs. Fatzinger. The charge is the same as for a one-period class.
In order that we get parental participation for extra-curricular activities which all the students enjoy, we ask each family to contribute fifteen (15) hours per student throughout the year for various functions such as picnics, dances, pizza lunches, and outdoor lunch supervision.
A student may withdraw from a class within the first two weeks with a refund (less any supply fee). After the first two weeks, no refunds will be given.
St. Peter the Rock Tutorial retains permission to photograph students for yearbook and marketing purposes (including this website) unless notified in writing by the parents.
Your student will automatically be signed up for Jupiter upon registration. If you ever have problems with Jupiter, email stpetertutorial@gmail.com. Parents are responsible to keep abreast of their student's grades on a regular basis.
Students must be able to communicate through email with tutors.
